Stucco reliefs from the vault above of the east subterranean stairs of House E, Palace. The top drawing, from Eastern Subterranean Vault 1, shows a Cosmic Monster with a "k'in" (Sun) in the middle of the body and an upside-down Quadripartite Badge at the tail end. The bottom drawing, Eastern Subterranean Vault 2, shows a two-headed saurian or reptile. Above the saurian is a deer (at left) and a crouching supernatural (at the right).
